I’m Cristy McNabb. I have worked at Dogwood Animal Hospital for 12 years as head nurse, office manager and receptionist. I am also the nutrition specialist here at the hospital and enjoy educating our clients about the needs of their pets. I am certified by the American Institute of Medical Laser Application for the use of our Companion Laser Therapy. Being Head Nurse for 7 years here at Dogwood, I also am very knowledgeable about the various flea and heartworm preventatives on the market. I also enjoy educating our clients about puppy training and behavior. I have 5 dogs and one cat at home, so I know how important our four-legged family members can be in our lives. I love our patients and clients like family and take a lot of pride in my work. I plan on being at Dogwood Animal Hospital for years to come, and I hope you will come join our family and be a part of it with me and the rest of our wonderful, caring staff.
Hello I'm Sharron Green. I have been at Dogwood Animal Hospital since 2010. I moved a few years ago to Georgia to be near family. I moved back to this area in October 2016. I came right back to Dogwood Animal Hospital. These past 7 years have been very exciting, fun, and challenging. Working here has been truly rewarding. I have worked in the kennel and reception while I have been here. I really enjoy cutting up with our clients. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, decorating my home, and trying out new recipes. I also have a four legged baby Schaffer. He is a Shih-Tzu Poodle mix. Between him and my 12 year old son BJ they keep me super busy. I have been so truly grateful to be part of the Dogwood Animal Hospital Family.
I’m Nikki Robinson. I have worked at Dogwood Animal Hospital for a little over a year. You will see me at the front desk greeting you, working in the kennel in the back, or as one of your nurses. I am currently studying to become a certified vet technician, which I hope to complete by next summer. I am certified by the American Institute of Medical Laser Application for the use of our Companion Laser Therapy. I have one dog and a cat at home. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my furbabies, reading, and finding fun places to eat. Working with animals has been the best job I’ve had, and I am very passionate about what I do. I love educating clients on pet care and would love for you to become a part of our Dogwood family!
I’m Sara Cochran. I have worked at Dogwood for over a year. I started in the kennel and worked my way to reception and nursing. Working with animals is by far the most rewarding job I’ve ever had. I have two furbabies of my own, my sweet Chihuahua, Lulu, and my cat, Stevie, both of whom I acquired from working in the clinic. I enjoy camping, kayaking, and of course spending time with my family, 2 legged and 4. I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies here at the clinic.
Hey, my name is Abbie Rushing, and I have been working at Dogwood Animal Hospital a little over a year now. During the week I work in the accounting field and attend school at night. Working here has given me the opportunity to take a break from everyday life and do something else that I love. I enjoy playing with and helping care for all of the animals that come to the clinic just as much as I do my own dogs – Milo, Benny and Fletcher. I hope you decide to join our family at Dogwood Animal Hospital. I guarantee your pet will love it here!
Hi! My name is Shay Blair. I have worked at Dogwood Animal Hospital and Pet Resort since 2012. I moved a couple years later to Louisiana and worked at an emergency animal hospital. I returned to Dogwood Animal Hospital in October 2016. I work in the kennel and up front as a receptionist. I currently have one pet named Bruce Wayne who I'm holding in my photo. He is super friendly and loves coming to work with me so he can love on the other Dogwood staff. Working and caring for animals has been a really great experience. I plan on going to school in the fall to study to become a pharmacy technician, but I will still continue working with animals part time. I love playing and meeting with all of our patients, and boarders that come to Dogwood!
